K-80 Wood Selection

Krieghoff stocks and forearms are made from specially selected Turkish walnut, are hand-checkered, and have a satin epoxy finish that provides comfortable shooting in all weather conditions.  The stock features deep pistol grips and ambidextrous palm swells and fit all shooters regardless of being right or left-handed.

For interchangeability and easy cleaning, all K-80 stocks are easily detached without removing the recoil pad.  A stock wrench that is supplied with the gun is inserted through a hole in the recoil pad to remove the stock.  Trap guns are fitted with a deeply curved and heavily ribbed "tank tread" recoil pad.  Skeet guns have a straight skeet pad with fine vertical ribs.  Sporting and international skeet guns have recoil pads equipped with hard plastic inserts at the heel which are specially designed for better mounting from the gun down position.

Krieghoff adjustable stocks are adjustable at the comb. The up and down range is approximately 1 1/4" to 1 5/8".  Furthermore, the combs can also be adjusted sideways for cast.  Lines of calibration help to adjust for right or left cast.  Two height adjustment screws rest on steel plates inletted in the stock and also serve as vertical support posts.  This design takes pressure off the clamp screws and assures that the adjustment does not change during shooting.  Krieghoff International can also retrofit existing Krieghoff stocks and make them adjustable at the comb using the original Krieghoff system.

du PONT/KRIEGHOFF maintains the world's largest inventory of "extra" Krieghoff K-80 and K-20 wood sets - from the basic "E" grade wood to the top-of-the-line custom set.  With over 45 years of experience selling Krieghoff shotguns, we have learned that a Krieghoff customer wants to select his or her own wood - not just be given what comes out of the box on the gun.

du PONT/KRIEGHOFF is the only Krieghoff dealer who asks the customer for his wood color preference and grade, then emails a selection of stocks from which to chose his preferred wood set.

Even if you need a skeet stock on a sporter, or a trap stock on a skeet stock - no problem. As we've said for years; "No One Does It Like du Pont".

Here are a few images to highlight the differences in grain between the different grades of wood.  To select your piece of new K-80 wood, click here.  To browse through our pre-owned K-80 wood inventory, click here.  Not all of our wood is photographed at the current time.  Please contact a sales associate to hear what else we have available that is not listed online.
