Krieghoff Sporting and Pro Sporter

In 1988, Krieghoff Sporting Clays Shotguns arrived on the American shooting scene with the introduction of the 28 inch factory screw-in choke tube shotguns. These guns were immediately popular since most of the shooters were coming into sporting clays from skeet, where the 28 inch barrel dominated for more than 20 years. The rib on the first sporter was tapered-step or trap style. Shortly thereafter the 8mm rib was introduced and two years later the tapered-flat rib was produced. Over the years, Krieghoff has gone from offering only 28 inch barrels to offering 30, 32 and 34 inch barrels.

PRO SPORTER (Floating Rib)
The newest sporting clays shotgun offered by Krieghoff is the new Pro Sport model. Introduced at the 2008 Sporting Clays Nationals, this new gun is available in 30" and 32" with titanium choke tubes, with the new higher, floating rib and higher stock.  With the higher rib, the shooter maintains a higher head position and broader sight picture. The floating rib provides the option to raise the POI from the factory set a 50% / 50% to 60% / 40% pattern.

PARCOURS
The legendary K-80 receiver needs no introduction.  It has long been thought of as one of the most reliable and has withstood hundreds of thousands of rounds and many trips to the top of the podium.  Available with dozens of different barrel options the K-80 has always been a shotgun that was ready to evolve.

The next step in this evolution is the introduction of the K-80 Parcours.  Perfectly balanced between the hands, the Parcours gives the shooter a gun that is just shy of 8 pounds with the proven reliability of the K-80 receiver.  Featuring 32” fixed choke, soldered rib barrels, a slimmer forearm and a totally new stock design the K-80 Parcours points and moves with ease.

STOCKS
A variety of K-80 stocks are seen on the sporting field. In the beginning K-80s sporters were fit with the non-adjustable #3 sporting stocks.  Over time, adjustable combs became increasinly popular allowing shooters to fit the stock to their particular shooting style by raising the comb up or down and right or left.
