We are proud to introduce the Krieghoff Model KX-6, worthy successor to our popular KX-5 and prior to that the KS-5. A pure single barrel trap gun, the KX-6 features all of the attributes of the KS-5 Special, plus many refinements and new features from the more recent KX-5. Available in 34" barrels with choke tubes (titanium choke tube upgrade available), the KX-6 has a fully adjustable rib and comb to provide high flexibility in stock fit and point-of-impact adjustment. Years of experience and intensive research of recoil forces result in the KX-6's ergonomic stock design which reduces perceived recoil to a bare minimum.
Calibrated at the Krieghoff factory in Germany to a 70% / 30% pattern, the height of the rib may be altered to vary the pattern spread from 60% / 40% to nearly 80% / 20% high. The free-floating adjustable rib is locked in place at the muzzle and breech end by set screws. By loosening the screws, the rib can be moved up or down by rotating the small knurled nut located below the front bead. As the rib is raised or lowered, it rotates on a short radius around a cam located just in front of the mono block. When the desired rib height is reached and both set screws are tightened, you may re-adjust the comb of the KX-6 stock for your preferred site picture and the gun is ready to go.
The action is a black nitro carbonized design providing optimal durability with an elegant matte finish. Also found on the KX-6 is a forend iron design with a push button lock which provides a better and stronger latch to the barrel. Part of the forend iron which mates the receiver is visible, similar to the K-80. In addition to strength, this modification gives the receiver a more elegant, streamlined look. The popular, adjustable trigger borrowed from the K-80, can also be found on the KX-6. The trigger pull is easily adjustable for both weight and sear engagement. Release triggers are also available as an upgrade option.
