Krieghoff is a product which is backed by over a century of German gunmaking experience and design. It is only fitting that a manufacturer of such high regard introduce a rifle which specializes in quality, safety, reliability and accuracy. The Krieghoff Rifle was built on the same "tradition of performance" as the Krieghoff competition shotguns.
Available in a multitude of engraving patterns, the Krieghoff Classic rifles begin with a standard Arabesques and progress from deep relief to delicate scroll. There are also several game scenes and Bulino-style sideplates. In addition to the seven in-house engravers employed by Krieghoff, several other well-known artisians engrave the Classic; Jana Schilling, Juergen Goeser, Gerhard Reich, Gehard Ruppert, Roland Schmidt, and Uwe Spinder.

Every Classic Rifle is built around an identical action to which any number of barrels may be fit, including a 20 ga. barrel. Available in the following standard caliber's: 7x65R; .308 Win; 30-06; 8x57JRS; 8x75 RS; and 9.3x74R.
The Krieghoff Universal Trigger System, Combi-Cocking Device, Removable Wedge and Integrated Front Sight, and One Action configuration are several important features which distinguish this model from other rifles.

Big Five Dangerous Game Rifle

The Krieghoff rifle meets the challenge of the quest for the "Big Five". Designed in conjunction with professional hunters and safari experts specifically for hunting dangerous game. Available in the following standard caliber's: .375 H&H Flanged Mag. NE; .375 H&H Mag; .470 NE; .450/.400 N.E.; .500 NE 3"; and .500/416 NE (3 ¼"). Standard features of the Classic Big Five include Krieghoff's Universal Trigger System and Combo-Cocking Device.

Break-O Recoil Reducer
|

The installation of a Break-O recoil reducer in the buttstock is recommended in the heaviest of the big bore calibers. In addition to a noticeable reduction in recoil, the weight of the Break-O until (14 oz) offsets the added weight of the big bore barrel and brings the Big Five into perfect balance.

Krieghoff See-Thru Sight
|
|
Our See-Through Sight has become very popular. Its large field of view and bright orange-red markings provide for quick and accurate target acquisition. You use the outline of the sight to take aim at your quarry, but at the same time you can see the quarry through the cut-out steel frame. This less obstructed view makes it easier to detect movement and direction - a critical factor in many hunting situations. The See-Through Sight is equally suited for Krieghoff rifles, drillings, and combination over-and-unders.
