Will Hinton-duPont/Krieghoff Sponsored Youth Shooter

 In 2010, Will Hinton punched into Master class at the young age of 14 after thousands of hours on the practice field and beating many men and women several times his age.  I first met Will last year and was impressed with his focus, demeanor, and sportsmanship.  In fact I was so impressed I asked him to come on board to represent du PONT/KRIEGHOFF Gun Company at local and national shoots.

Will joined duPONT/KRIEGHOFF's team in January 2011.  Since then he has been taking home many wins across the country.  At the Seminole Cup in Florida in February, Will was the HOA in the 20 gauge as well as placing 1st in the Sub Junior Class, 1st Sub Junior in the Phil Hughes Prelim, Sub Junior Runner Up in 5 Stand and placed 3rd in Sub Junior for the main.  I was very lucky to be present at this shoot and to watch him in action!

People everywhere are taking notice of his skill.  The Army Marksman Unit invited Will to shoot with them.  This experience will certainly be helpful as he continues to strive toward his goal of shooting for the USA in the Olympics.

The Youth Shotgun Purchase Program, started in 2003, extends special financing terms to Registered Youth Shooters when they purchase a new or pre-owned Krieghoff or Kolar shotgun from du PONT/KRIEGHOFF.  We've made it easier for youth shooters to get into a fine shotgun by reducing the down payment to just 10%, extending the payments to 5 years, and lowering the finance rate. This will make monthly payments more affordable for teens with understandably smaller budgets. The finance contract is written in the name of the registered youth shooter, and co-signed by a parent or guardian. So while shooting a new Krieghoff or Kolar, the teen can begin to establish his/her own credit. Plus, the purchase makes them eligible for our Upgrade Program, which we have extended an additional year.  That means when upgrading to a higher grade Krieghoff in three years from the purchase date, you get 80% of the original purchase price when trading-in the Krieghoff.  As the teen continues to grow in clay target shooting sports, duPONT/KRIEGHOFF will grow with them and accommodate their changingshooting needs. For instance, if they outgrow or require longer barrels, we will happily do what it takes to keep the teen on top of the game. In most cases, the fee is minimal.
